My weight was lower during the week, but has drifted up, so I missed my mini-interim-goal by .4. I was traveling, so the diet was a little flexible. Well it's out to the garden where I'll spend a few hours bending, kneeling, digging and squating, plus I'll get my veggie starts planted! Happy June Monday all!

I'm building a new flower bed. Last fall I cleared out an overgrown area that was infested with invasive multi-flora rose and bittersweet etc. I thought I had it pretty cleared out and went ahead and planted bulbs last fall. They are up and some are blooming, but so are the weeds. So, I weeded out the bed and decided to edge it with some patio blocks I have leftover from a recent project. It makes a mowing strip to keep the lawn out. So, I just spent 3.5 hours weeding, digging and hauling and placing patio blocks. It's a nice looking flower bed. Now I need to move some plants into it. That's the fun part. It's a beautiful warm and windy day here in New England!

From what I understand from the boxing world, your weight may fluctuate 10lbs due to water weight. Fighters will dehydrate themselves as much as possible for their weigh-in then hydrate and gain as much as 10 lbs. From what I understand, weight measurement is not a very exact way to calculate. What is? Heck I don't know, but it should give us all some encouragement to not beat ourselves up over a pound or two.
