Draglist's Journal, 15 November 2018

Woke at 226.0, up 1.4 from yesterday. Lots of water in me. Snow and ice outside today and I will leverage that for a telework day. That will give me a chance to pop some Lasix and drop some of the water. Ate an omelet for breakfast. The Slow Carb diet recommends 30 grams of protein within a half hour of waking. That did it! Obviously, this diet will prevent significant fasting. Probably only going 12-14 hours without food. But trying something different for the second half of the month. UPDATE: Drank a lot of coffee all day (decaf after noon), and moved it all out and then some. Weighed 221.6 before dinner.

Why do you take Lasix to drop the water. Should it not stabilize on its own. Good luck with slow carb. I am unfamiliar with it but will follow

Lasix to lose the water? Find out why you are retaining the water. I have water pill and it works quick but I am a woman and at times we bloat....are you a salt eater?

I am reading that 12 - 14 hours without food (for women, at least) is okay to do. So carry on!
