I am active and healthy and eat and unprocessed diet. However, I have progressively gained wait, 16 lbs. since my last annual exam (16 months ago). I think it is partially perimenopause as I rarely sleep through the night and have not for years. I just incorporated weight training to reduce body fat and started to measure my portions. I feel uncomfortable having gained so much weight and I know women with thyroid conditions who have successfully lost weight. Over the next year I would like to loose 20 lbs.
