I have not been doing well at all. I've eaten pizza, candy, and tonight I had dinner at a friends. Okay, my husband is deploying soon, and it is stressful, and I know once he is gone it will be much easier to eat healthy because I will have way too much time on my hands... But I want to be able to stick to healthy food when he s home (which is my biggest problem!). I always lose weight when he is away, then he comes home and I plump back up. It isn't his fault, he is naturally thin and can eat anything and stay slim, so he doesn't worry about what he eats, and I normally eat what he eats.. bad cycle
Okay, Monday I am going again. Tomorrow I am going to go shopping and fill my kitchen with yummy, but healthy, food.

WOW, I haven't weighed myself since a couple of weeks ago. The scale just kept moving up and up, and then stayed at 175 for the longest, so I assumed I was still 175... I weighed myself this morning, praying it wouldn't be over 175, it was 165.
What a boost!! I haven't been dieting lately, but I have been a little more consious of what I have been eating, and I cut out my sugar loaded coffee in the morning, for tea. For some reason I only like a little bit of sugar in my tea, so it made it easier to transition. I also haven't been drinking my diet coke like I use too, and have been opting for water instead.
So now my question is, how do I change my starting weight on my weight history section??
And I did eat a proper breakfast today. A omelet with diced tomatoe, and very small sprinkle of low fat mozz cheese, cooked in fat free pam. Followed by a glass of water. I also didn't have a late night snack last night before bed (very big for me).

This is not weightloss from the south beach diet, and no I did not magically drop 10 pounds in one day, lol.
I made a mistake when I was putting in my start weight. I assumed I was still at 175, like I have been for months. I was wrong, somehow this month I lost 10 pounds without realizing it. I should have weighed myself yesterday, before I put my starting weight in!
I can't find a way to change it, so this comment and changing it with a "weigh in" is all I could think of. Sorry for any confusion.
Weigh-in:
165.0 lb

This is my first day on my diet. I didn't start the morning out well, but by the time lunch rolled around I came to my senses. I just finished a plain omelet and greens, and sat down with a glass of ice water. It actually wasn't that bad!
I am trying to follow the south beach diet with out having to buy the book. I will eventually buy it, but for now there is so much information on it for free on the internet, that I think I can get by for awhile without the book. It helps that is is similar to a previous diet I tried (6 week total body makeover), but thankfully less strict than phase 1 on the South beach diet.
After I get my son down for a nap, I'll take my first walk on my new treadmill! My goal for this week is 3 pounds.
