I used to sit down to watch The Biggest Loser and would (can you believe this) Snack while watching it. I mean really? Who does this? Who can sit down and watch a motivational tv program about weight loss and snack at the same time? That WAS me. Now, I DVR the show and watch it the next day while I have my tredmill and my weights out. It's a great way to get myself going and I'm not snacking aimlessly while watching it.

So, to update from my post this morning, Not only did I complete my leg workout with the weights I did make up for the cardio I missed yesterday. I jogged/walked 2 miles on the tredmill. THEN got down on the floor to do more sit-ups (trying to find that bikini body in there somewhere).

Why is it that we all dread the workout? When if we remember back one whole day ago when we completed our last workout how we felt...eager, alive, energized, motivated, and ready to conquer the world! Albet tired...but still.So get up...get moving...in 20 minutes you will be smiling and very happy you did so!

Well...I did some cardio yesterday and a lot of crunches, but I didn't get to RUN like I wanted to. Today is my leg workout with weights so I know if I do my cardio in addition to the weights I will be hurtin' tomorrow. I think I'm going to do my weights and see how I feel then. The weather here in Jersey is wet and cold so if I do get in my run it will be on the tredmill.

My weight is still dropping and I am so excited to be on week 4 and seeing results. Typically by now I am back on the sugar wheel. But I must say, between the lack of cravings (for sugar) and being able to see my results, I'm a pretty happy girl sticking with this plan.

Like I mentioned the cravings for sugar have subsided, but I am now craving fruits. LOL, one source of sugar for another I suppose. I cannot wait for peaches to come into season! Until then it's a lot of blueberries and strawberries. :)

My caloric intake will be off for this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) as my work schedule was changed. I worked 11p-7a, so my body was all out of wack, when I was up I was either not hungry, or too tired to eat. Then when I was finally able to get some sleep, which was when I would normally have lunch, I missed it.
It's about 2:30am on Sunday morning and I am hoping by tonight my body will get back on track. I should get home around 7:30 this morning, but then have to get my daughter ready for church and we won't be home till around 1pm. Then I have to clean up the house as we have company coming for dinner. So I am not sure if I will have time to sleep today. Maybe my wonderful husband will play with our daughter outside for a bit in the afternoon so I can have an hour (or maybe a two hour)nap. Fingers crossed :)
