I'm getting ready to change my WOE from low carb to the DASH diet which targets high blood pressure... It's going to take some time to readjust, so wish me luck!

So....Went to the doctor's for an annual physical on Wednesday. Come to find out, the epsom salt/ aloe rub that I had been using to reduce my knee pain, after a couple of months, made my feet and ankles swell up and sent my blood pressure through the roof! I stopped using it on Wednesday and the resultant weight loss has all been related to that change - blood pressure came down into my regular/NORMAL range,too - I'm sad, though, because for the first time in many years, I wasn't in pain - Follow up is scheduled for 5 weeks, so we'll see if I can use the rub, but maybe not so much of it so often - I really prefer not to have to take a lot of medications...
