New and trying SO hard!
I have always struggled with my weight. I'm so tired of it. I divorced last year - ever since I had our son, my ex has thought I was too heavy. Well, now it's time to do this for ME! I've met someone, and he is attracted generally to very petite women, but he says he wants to have a relationship with me, and that he KNOWS that I'm not thrilled with where I am now, and that I'm working to better myself.

It's been nearly 2 weeks of trying a low carb eating lifestyle... I was gung-ho the first week, feeling like the changes were coming...now into week 2, I've actually gained some of the weight back. I know that I can afford to be more active, I just have to find/make/take the time.

Daily intake:

100 oz of water (minimum)

Breakfast:

2-3 strips of bacon
1 egg (most days)

Lunch:
6-8 celery sticks
2T peanut butter
2 oz Colby Jack cheese

Dinner:
Meat (salmon burger w/o bread, OR steak, OR chicken breast, OR any other meat)
1c green beans
OR
1c + tossed salad or baby spinach

Dessert:
1 Healthy Choice Fudge Bar
OR
1 Weight Watchers Raspberry & Dark Chocolate Ice Cream bar

At least I'm eating every day now. It was very common for me to skip meals, or even not eat a couple of days a week (to me, it's a bother to eat). I'm never hungry eating the above listed things, nor am I bored with it.

Ideas anyone? I want to lose 40 - 50 pounds in the end...hopefully 25 by Summer and 25 more by Christmas....
