Wow. this is really working for me. Plus knowing that i'm drinking that gallon of water per day keeps me flushed out and feeling great. i'm still doing the thirty minutes on the bikes everyday, and although it was SO hard the first day, last night it went fast. I did weights once last week, so I'll think I'll do another round of those on my workout today as well...
only fruit i'm missing - my raspberry smoothies and grapefruit. Will have it on a "cheat day"...on my cheat day last thursday, i made bday cupcakes - homemade lemon ones with huckleberry jam filling and raspberry (sugar free toriani) creamcheese frosting (only thing i had resembling raspberries in the house.) even with the cheat day, i still lost .5 - i've been weighing myself at home each morning. it's so great to step on the scale every day and see it go down.
that's why i love induction. the fat just flies off, IF you're willing to TOTALLY stick to it. altho i think the one cheat day is important too. helps me be super strict on other days.
but my menu was so great...dinner each night was stuffed chicken, eggplant pizzas, asian lettuce wraps, and lunch was always a salad. breakfast is harder. i'm not keen on eggs and bacon. i managed one omelette with lox and cream cheese, but i mostly had a nuked soy burger pattie. and coffee. lovely coffee and cream - the whole reason i swiched from fat flush to atkins. you're not sposed to have coffee on fat flush...with cream. and i want it. funny thing is, i only end up drinking half a cup when i know i can have it. go figure. now i'm off to peruse sweet desserts - i did crave chocolate and i want something to satisfy that!

Wow. Three days of technical atkins - switched over from fat flush, and I've lost 3 pounds. I've been drinking a gallon of water per day and exercising thirty minutes every day - even did weights on tuesday - although just one rep of about 10. I use this site for recipes - found a great one for eggplant pizza. The thing about atkins is I can get burnt out on the meat and eggs. So I try to avoid that by making my dinners different, although breakfasts have been mainly soy pattie with coffee and cream, although yesterday morning i had a three egg white, one yolk omelette (only cuz i don't like the yolks) with cream cheese, fresh dill and lox in it). For lunch I usually a romaine salad with 2 T each of feta, cucumbers and litehouse garlic caesar. Man, it is so good. i wish i could throw some gyros meat on it, because it kind of reminds me of that...or tomato, but since I know i'm sposed to avoid tomato for awhile, even if i did put a T of unsalted tom sauce on each eggplant slice before i topped it with with cheese and a portobello and baked it for 20 minutes. talk about yummy. god. (make sure you oil the pan first - i did it with hazelnut oil.) the night before i had stuffed chicken. to die for. i want scallops, but they're so dang expensive! god. like $15/pound! what is up with that. i would get just a half pound, but can't see spending $7.50 when i could spend $2 on chicken or beef. Salmon would be about $5 (for a half pound)...Anyhoo, things are going good. I'm not even feeling deprived, which is what I need if i'm in it for the long haul. another treat - at night - good earth herbal tea. YUM. I hope to get in a yoga class as well this week...I WILL lose 60 pounds...yay!
