Hi all I hope everyone in South Ga is ok and not stranded our highway the 285 is an ice rink full of stranded and abandoned cars I am thankful that my husband did not have to go to work today. So my gym is closed to day and today is one of my workout days I guess I will have to pop in one of my DVDs I am feeling really good about myself today getting used to drinking only water and am looking forward to my cheat/weight day (Superbowl Sunday)!! I wonder how far I will let myself go? I hope everyone is doing well with their goals.

Day 4 captains log:
Last night after dinner I went into a sugar and salt search and ended up eating most of a candy cane about 1/4 of a cup of white chocolate chips and two handfuls of dry roasted nuts. What happened? I've got to get rid of this inner fat girl she has been in the foreground to long! I have a goal and am on a mission to to reach it! I want to be an after and remain an after, no more before for me. Today will be a better day, this journal thing can be a good thing.

Typical Monday feeling great after my 2 and a half hour gym classes Pilates 1 hour 20 minutes and cycle 1 hour 10 minutes. The favorite time for me on Mondays is when I am walking out! LOL I did not have my usual breakfast just an egg white omelet with sausage so I am looking forward to lunch after this much needed shower. I hope everyone is having a great day so far and being mindful of their goals.

Today was a good day but dinner, even though I had the calories to do so I let myself eat not the: best potato salad and chicken legs (2). NIghttime is alway a difficult time for me since I am cooking for my husband and 5 year old son who are not on calorie restraints. I have to stay focused and keep my eyes and mind on why I am doing this.

I have been at this starting place many time with my weight. I am now in my 30s and this time is different I have said this many times before but I know now that it is actually true because now the goal is not to get on a diet to loose 10-30 pounds and go back to my normal self of not working out or eating right the goal is to have a lifestyle change. I am currently working out 4-5 times a week and have been doing so since June 21 2013, I have not been eating as I should so surprisingly to me I have only lost to date 4 pounds! I know why I have not started to eat right because I am just afraid of losing the weight by eating right and go back to old habits and putting the weight back on. In the summer of 2012 I did just that, I lost 18 pounds and just stopped and gained it all back I know this time is different I have made working out a part of my life and now it is time to make eating healthy apart of my life as well, I hope I can find a balance of healthy eating and still being able to enjoy food since culinary is my trade (well before I became a homemaker I went to school for it as well) I hope to share ups and downs with all of you!
