Hey I'm Jessi and i'm awesome. i've been struggling with weight for a while, and two years ago I had finally managed to get down to 130 lbs (a size 6, when you factor in my large butt and hips LOL!) Anyway, imagine this: a week after going clothing shopping for all sorts of cute new stuff to celebrate my new size, i find out i'm expecting my daughter! So, i thought i'd just eat carefully and only gain what i needed to support the baby, then go back down to my normal size. HA! yeah right. i ended up getting up to 190 pounds by the time i delivered my daughter! Well, i managed to get down to 175, then i got the depo provera shot and gained 10 pounds. Then, crappy eating habits got me another 2 lbs. so, starting my diet i officially weighed 187. i've been counting calories for about a week and a half, and working out more, and i'm down to 182. I also cut my beloved starbucks out of my diet. my goal is to lose weight and tone up by Halloween so I can get one of those hot lady cop costumes and look AMAZING in it :)
I am too lazy to add this daily, so i'll just tell you:
EVERY DAY (minus my cheat day, Sunday) i do the same workout
i do:
30 bicycle twists
30 crunches
30 leg raises
30 side crunches
(using soup cans for weights LOL)
fly exercise
chest press
bicep curls
tricep kick backs
more bicep curls
^^ 5 reps of each
30 minute power walk with baby in stroller outdoors
(i have a maxi cosi perle - great, lightweight, all - weather and manueverable)
10 squats
10 lunges
10 leg lifts (cheer style! per leg!)
10 pulsing squats
10 pulsing lunges (per leg)
5 minute yoga cool down
I'll do this for a month, then double everything (minus the walk)until I'm doing 600 abdominals, of each leg toning element, 25 min of yoga and 25 of each arm toning thing. :)
i'll also increase weights monthly. after soup cans comes 5 lbs, then 8, then 10, maybe 10 but i'll probably stick to 10. :)
