Needing Support
From my perspective, I don't believe in "diets". As others have said, you need to change your eating habits permanently. I have been trying to reduce my cholesterol. I started by cooking my own food every night. I increased my veg and fruit to the recommended amount, a vegetarian meal every week and fish twice a week. I cut out my evening snacks. It has been a year. Sometimes I relapse (my husband eats his snacks every night so it is hard). My cholesterol has come down to a healthy level and my weight is coming down slowly. I draw up a meal plan every week and buy my groceries from that. It has become a habit and it really gets easier! Don't forget to exercise though. It's more than just changing what you eat! Needing Support
