How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Interesting what works and what doesn't for different people. I always think more information is better than less information. I sometimes regret thinking such a thing, but there it is. I weigh daily, but only record the losses. Then I can look at the flattest, or most inclined areas on my loss history and scroll back through my food diary for those times to see what I was eating, and use that information to inform what I do next. It has worked for me so far. I have lost 50 lbs this way. I suspect at some point I will just know what to do and will be able to keep doing it without all the checking.
