i was able to take all those holiday pounds off! thank godness! having a stressful week at times. my oven is now broken! when you are on a WOE and your oven breaks, it becomes prophetic! i am limited to stove top only and a tiny toaster oven, for a family of 7!!!!....i am seriously thinking of buying a bigger countertop oven anyway, but was not planning on this to happen right now! so now i am in the conundrum of ...do i spend 200 bucks to fix it (it is 13 yrs old and is very used!!!) or do i (gulp) buy a new oven which will cost 500-600 bucks!!! gives me a migraine just thinking about it. i hate having to worry about money, and i have a major problem with using up all the money i have! hubby is working on the solution, thank god for him! i become so overwhelmed that i am actually in a paralyzed state of indecision! oh well...."deep slow breaths"....if a broken oven is my only huge problem i think i need to optimistically bear that cross! looks like more take out for the kids, and more salads and grilled meats (in 0 degree weather)for hubby and I. at least my coffee pot is going strong LOL....and for the next 2 days i am working 12 hour nights and usually don't cook anyway during those days!

ok, christmas and new years parties have done their damage! time to get back on OWL for a few weeks then back to pre maintence hopefully soon. gonna start recording what i eat again so i can see the choices i make and think about what i put into my mouth a little bit more! up 5 lbs and gotta get to 149 again... i know i can do it! no more carbs, sweets, and more veggies! i don't know how stay at home mom's do it? god bless each one of you! all 4 kids have been on school vacation since dec 23rd, and the stress of having no routine has become painfully apparent! my hand is going to my mouth WAY to frequently when i am overwhelmed and stressed out. my to-do list is painfully long....gotta get motivated. i really want to do some home improvements (painting) this week. i just hope i can find the motivation i am lacking. i doesn't help that i am working nights on the 3 days that the kids are in school, either! i will be sleeping during the time that i need to do all the things i want to do. i don't want to sacrifice my sleeping to get these things done! i have to remember that this isn't a sprint to the finish....i gotta do a little bit at a time, and learn to celebrate the "baby steps" as much as i celebrate the "finishes"! i feel a migraine beginning and i am not happy about that at all! i know it is all stress related. what i wouldn't give for 2 hours of silence at the local library! why does today have to be a holiday??? uggh... gonna try a little more caffiene and a little snuggle with hubby who i let sleep in this morning. love to all!
