I'm almost 30 trying to drop some bad habits and just get to a healthier me. It started with wanting a family. Our initial try ended up with no baby and almost 4 months of chemo. I learned a WHOLE lot in that time. I now just want to be healthy rather than prep my body for a baby. I know I'm not heavy but for my height I looked like a meatball and completely uncomfortable with myself. I use to love to run and I went from a low paying job where I literally worked my behind off everyday to now having a great paying job with an insane amount mental stress and no actual physical labor. My husband and I are financially able to finally reach some of our life goals like actually having a real savings account, working on our debt & being in our own house instead of cramming our 3 pets into an efficiency sized apt! SO while life itself is going pretty good now we haven't exactly been taking the best care of our bodies. We get stressed and grub out on all the wrong stuff. I'm working on making lifetime changes not just diet.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Randomly. Maybe about 4 times a week. I have the scale in the kitchen next to the trash can which is also within arms reach of the fridge. It wasn't intended to be a mind game, it's just more convenient otherwise I don't think I'd ever weigh myself. I can't put it in the restroom because then it seems like a negative thing immediately. Weighing myself in the restroom just makes me sad like it's shameful. With it in the kitchen my huband sees me so he'll weigh himself to. Or whoever is visiting so it's not something that I'm trying to hide.
