I only feel fat in pictures...who can relate.
I have the same feelings. Although, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You are in the mindset of losing weight, so to you, if you have not hit your goal number, nothing will be good enough. Also, we are our own worst critic. When we look at a picture of ourself, we are looking at every single little bit of our body. Overall, if you just blur your vision a little, you will probably see, hey I look pretty good overall, and that is what everyone else sees when they look at your picture. They are not focused on every little flaw, they look at the whole picture. I, for example, have some love handles from hell. I wear jeans that I can pull up enough to hide them, for the most part and when I see pictures of myself, I see that little buldge right above my pants and that is all I see. However, when my husband looks at the picture, he sees me as a whole and as the beautiful woman he married. I totally understand the feelings though. I agree with some of the above posts, take lots of pictures, put them up at work if you have a space to do that, so you can see yourself all day long. It will motivate you to keep exercising and eating well. Take weekly pictures, so you can see the progress you are making and that too will give you motivation to keep on keeping on. Good luck! We can do this!
