I cannot believe that Metabolic Type thing was true. I lost a pound! I feel great. No more depriving myself of my cravings for avocado, peanut butter, nuts. Although I'm not consuming dairy anymore since it makes me feel bloated and gassy. I ate so much yesterday that I was scared, but now I understand that I'm eating what I need!

So I decided that I will not do a 2nd week. I'm going to stick the Metabolic Protein, which only increases my protein intake and limits my fruits and carbs. Apples, pears, avocado. Sprouted grains only (Ezekiel), complex carbs from asparagus, spinach, cauliflower, olives, mushroom, legumes, squash, celery. All nuts.

Yesterday was day 6 and I ate pretty well. I was craving some peanut butter so I had a tablespoon (it's homemade). I also had a homemade protein bar as a before dinner snack because I was starving and it kept me satisfied until dinner. I feel good and surprisingly, I don't feel guilty about it. Today is day 7 and I'm not sure if I'm going for week 2. Still thinking about it.
I was reading last night about the types of metabolism and I found out I have the protein type and that explains why I crave salty, creamy, cheesy, fatty foods. So what works best for me will be a diet low in carbs, moderate in fat and high in protein (50p, 20c, 30f)which is a joke because I don't eat meat. I'll keep reading and learning what foods will give me the protein without increasing my carbs.

Cooler #1 Day 5 was ok. Ate pretty well except for maybe a few more almonds (I was hungry after dinner). Other than that, it's been good. I lost an inch of my waist. I need to remind myself, this is not HCG. No instant gratification, but a slow and steady progress.
