Married, have 1 child, 16 year old son. put on a lot of weight in the last couple of years and am currently feeling really uncomfortable and unhealthy. I drink a lot of red wine and also tend to do a lot of social drinking on weekends. planning to stop the drinking and start eating healthy and lose weight.

Looking for buddies doing Keto or LCHF
I used to do Atkins diet, then tried the LCHF. I lost a lot of weight, but then fell off the wagon and put on even more than when I started!@
would love a few buddies to keep going strong!

Banting??
Has anyone tried the Banting diet, I did it a year back and lost a lot of weight, about a kg per week.
however I eventually went back to eating carbs and ended up putting on even more weight than when I started!
Any advise for keeping to the carb free diet? I also find that it is very expensive to stay only protein and fat, no carbs!!
Loved the diet but really expensive and not easy if you go out and visit ppl etc...

maybe suggestions on low carb diets that are easier to stick to???Wink
