Weight training on phase 1
I actually had this same question. I have continued to weight train but I reduced it to 2 X per week for 15 minutes instead of 3X per week for 40 minutes. I do upper one day and lower one day. I figure then I won't lose all that I have been working on with my weight training.

back pain
I had severe on and off back pain for about 5 years. I went to physical therapy, chiropractors, had x-rays, tried muscle relaxers. Nothing worked. Finally my Dr prescribed a new muscle relaxer called skelaxin. It is now my miracle drug! Whenever my back pain comes back I get a prescription for that and the pain is gone in a couple of days.

Thank you so much Steph! That really helps! It just seems like so much food which is why we started to question it.

Phase 2
I am TOTALLY confused with what foods to add during Phase 2. I understand the 3-4oz of meat per day. But then the seafood; is it 3 oz of fish OR 4 shrimp or is it 3 oz. fish AND 4 shrimp, etc? Same for milk and cheese. Do you only pick one per day out of the category. Can I only have 2 and 1/2 cups of milk a day OR the 2 6 oz of yogurt or can I have both? I hope this question makes sense because I need some answers in order to continue this diet. Also, the cereal. Is it both 1 1/2 cups cold cereal AND 1/2 cup hot cereal per day or do you just pick one of those per day?
