I am 5'3" tall and started this diet at 155. When I graduated from high school I was 98 lbs. I have never had a problem with weight other than I was too skinny but it wasn't from not eating. I am now 39 years old and of course, we get older and not as active and the weight adds on. I am still pretty active but could do more. With the help of Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk ice cream and my love of chocolate I made it to 155. I admit it I have an addiction! CHOCOLATE! How wonderful it is! I finally said enough was enough. I read the South Beach Diet and doing my own thing off of that. I am a picky eater but the things I really like are bad for me. I have cut out the chocolate bars and bread. I figured out today that just in candy bars alone I was consuming anywhere from 1000 calories to 2000 calories a day. Then add my meals on top of that and my 1/2 gallon of ice cream every weekend! Man was I taking it in! My best friend is doing this diet with me. GO BJ! At the next class reunion we will show the class of 1986 who still has it going on!
