Averaging my calories in, 2190 per day and out, 3728 per day, I have a deficit of 1538...so according to these numbers, my loss should have been 3 lbs. This sucks. I'm annoyed and at a loss as to what to do. I will stick to the following in an effort to get moving back in the right direction.

Six weeks till I see my sweetie....

Till then.............

Eating out only on special occasions or events. Otherwise, homemade foods!! Period.

Energy drinks be gone as well as artificial sweeteners. Today is last day. bye bye Sonic Route 44 diet cherry limeade! Agave sweetener and honey will do the trick.

Green tea, coffee and water will be my main liquids.

No eating past 6 pm...if I have a late workout, 100-200 calorie snack ok.

No alcohol for 6 weeks...am I serious about this or not??

No smoking...it's bad for me!!

55.9% body fat...this sucks, I suck and I am so disappointed in myself I could cry or fight harder.

Obvious problems this week:

I'm working out so hard it's all consuming. I'm in pain, planning, washing, doing and not having time for other parts of my life, it's too much.

Not being prepared with food, so I've eaten fast food.

Twice not writing in the journal out of shame. I wanted to be 100% accurate for 'scientific' and accountability reasons. I wanted to be able to spot what I was doing wrong.

This week, I know what I did wrong...BUT THAT HIGH OF A NUMBER??? It's fluids mostly I'm sure...but damn, I feel bad.

Shake it off, regroup, do the right things I know to do, and move forward.

A lot going on in my head. I'm down like I've been all week, but today is a new day.

I wrote at length on my blog regarding goals this week.

Planning food
Planning workouts, not as much (I cannot keep up with the laundry and lack of additional time for other things.)
sticking to the plan and 1600 calories.

Consistent workouts, consistent foods.

I am better than this makes me appear. I am stronger.

God damn it I'm upset.

I've been working my butt off exercising. My entire body is feeling it. I get on the scale this morning and I am up 4.4 lbs from last Friday morning. Two more mornings till weigh in. I am confused as I am documenting calories burned and calories eaten; every last one. I'm frustrated as I want to see FAT GONE; however, I know my body is getting better...but I don't want a fat, in-shape body...I want the fat to melt off as I've been working so hard!!

Ok, to be unemotional and fair to the diet Gods, I have had super high caloric days followed by a lower calorie days. I have been eating sweets, fast food, and drinking alcohol plus diet drinks...everything is logged BUT, I cannot whine like I have been perfectly consistent. When I take an unbiased look, I can make plenty of changes....

So after today, I will make the following changes:

No more sugar in the form of sweets.
No more artificial sweeteners. Agave nectar and honey will work.

Add Green Tea EVERY Day.
Add Coffee to replace diet energy drinks.
Add Consistent Sleep...9:30 pm - 4:30 am.

Prepare Next Day's meal plan and food for next day.
Prepare Gym Bag - Sleep in workout clothes so I can climb out of bed and go.

My calories will be set at 1700, consistently, every day.

If this doesn't work. I am going to the Dr because SOMETHING is wrong!!

EDIT*** NOT Annoyed!! See below...

Annoyed...worked my ass off and I'm down 1.6 lbs which is fine...but my body fat says 55.4 and it was 54.6. I know using a measuring tape is highly variable on placement, etc...but....grrrrrr daily calories are going down.

***I've been taking progress pics for the last 3 weeks, from behind, naked via the bathroom mirror. The first I lost bc I changed phones but I will never forget it...horrifying...But I have the next two. I just made a composite with the two pics side by side. In ONE week, there is a very significant difference!! I'm smiling now....Back rolls be banished!! Screw the stats (although I'll use for guidelines) and KNOW when you do well. I knew it was a good week, but the scale and fat % depressed me, BUT NO REASON...No more hyper focusing on the negative...carry on and keep charging ahead. I am making progress!!
