Hello all. I am new here and have one question.
I have a very physical job that surely burns many calories in a day. My job involves moving quickly and requires almost constant heavy lifting.
I have been in this job since April of '09 and have definitely seen a considerable increase in muscle mass, however, I have not lost any weight around the middle.
I have started a regular cardio workout in hopes of getting that little boost and it seems to be helping.
My question is due to the nature of my work. In order to include this in my calendar as exercise, I need to determine how many calories I typically burn at work. I entered it as a brisk walk which had me burning over 3000 calories per day, although that it likely a little high.
Does anyone have any idea as to how I can reasonably settle on a number that will more accurately fit?
