My weight went up because I discovered that the scale I had previously been using to weigh myself was inaccurate. It was off by 7 lbs.!!!!! That is 7 more pounds I have to lose that I didn't even know I had on me.

Needless to say, I was super bummed out to find out this information. Luckily, it has been a good week and I have lost 2 lbs. since the disastrous scale incident.

I have been taking Alli, eating low fat, low sugar, 1,400 calories and I feel like I am back in the swing of things.


ALSO,

My mom just found out she is diabetic, has high cholesterol, and high blood pressure this week. This depressed the hell outta me, especially seeing as she did it to herself. She knew she wasn't eating properly, getting exercise regularly, and weighed far too much. I really don't want this to happen to me and I didn't want it to happen to her. I am doing all I can to get her on the correct diet for her circumstances and try to get her active and on the track to weight loss. I think she will finally listen to me this time, after all of these years of trying to help her.
