Reason for starting this journey: Oh so many. My top ones are:
1) Health issues - self explanatory.
2) Work issues - I can tend to be a bit of a borderline workaholic.
3) Life issues - Better than half of my life is gone and I was miserable. Happiness was fleeting. I want the rest of my life to be joyful. I have no legacy to carry on so I want to know that I did accomplish something.
4) Relationship - yes I have met someone. They have seen and accepted me at my worst. I want them to see me at my best. This journey is not for them it's for me.
OK the usual stats. As of this posting I am:
Occupation: Technical Draughtsman <-- I draw technical plans for engineers
Location: USA East Coast
Goals (achievement in goals is when I reach 5 lbs. under desired goal weight EXCEPT for Final goal. That one will be very unhealthy for me)
First Goal: 250 lbs.
Second Goal: 200 lbs.
Third Goal: SCUBA Diving summer 2014 (Oh yeah 150 lbs.)
Fourth Goal: 110 lbs for 120 lbs maintenance (this will be daunting).
