I weigh myself daily, always the same time and conditions, and there are always inexplicable 1-2 lb rises and falls. It doesn’t pay to get discouraged by this, what matters is the pattern. So I only chart the average of the last 5 days’ readings. This is easy enough to do in a spreadsheet and gives a smoother curve showing the overall trend rather than daily fluctuations.
