Who knew gelato had so many calories?!
I didn't!
I mean I know it's delicious but ugh, 400 calories for a cup is too much!
Anyway, hello all. I'm new to the site and app. I've been doing a pretty intense workout program but then I injured my neck and need to keep activity to "light lower body cardio." I guess that means walking. I've been working to lose weight and since my injury, I feel desperate and unsure of how that will happen. I'm doing walks and getting my steps but I decided to try counting calories. I don't feel like I eat a lot or badly but I do have dessert once in awhile (see above note about gelato).
I do have a question about caloric intake. On this app, it appears that 2100 is my RDI. I suspect that it's actually around 1600-1700 for weight loss. Why is this site allowing so many calories? Am I missing something?
