I used to have a very active lifestyle. My job was physically demanding, plus I love sports and stayed active in them. After I had my kids I was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom. I slowly got away from my active lifestyle to a more sedentary one. I gained close to 100 lbs over two years. I'm getting back to a more active life again. I get outside with my kids all the time, we go to the beach, walks, park, anything to get us out of the house. I started going to the gym as well. Also I'm cooking a lot more and making more of my dinners from scratch. I'm so excited to get my old body back. I'm not sure how long that will take, but I'm physically and mentally ready for a change.
I have my goal weight set for 159 lbs. When I was in shape my weight pretty much stayed in the 150s.
I'm going back to college this fall and I want to be close to my goal weight by then.
There are lots of races where I live, so by this summer I'd really like to get into a 5K.
