hello, my name is sarah, im a 40 year old,echotech,and ive worked at the same hospital for 18 years and i love it!!!( echotech means i do ultra sounds of hearts,adult and pediatric) mother of 2 boys 18&20, and i have 2month old granddaughter. i have struggled with my weight my whole life, at my heaviest i was 256#. I got down to 235# fell in love and went back up to 245#. i joined the ymca got hooked on kickboxing, step aerobics, rumble, power pump, and sometimes just doing my own thing jogging on treadmill for 14 min straight then 6 1 min intervals of sprinting then walking then inclining the treadmill to level 10 and walking while working my arms,shoulders,abs, calves,and core. there is so much u can add to walking to make it more beneficial. i do this for 10 min then i go in the corner with hand weights and a stability ball and work my legs by standing with the ball between my legs and squeezing and releasing while i do a variety of tricep, bicep, and shoulder work, i then lay on the ball with my shoulders and have my feet on the floor and i arch and lower while doing more arm lifting this works the abs and glutes. then i finish up with ab work on and with the ball then some push ups over the ball, then i stretch. ive been going to the ymca for 5 years. my diet is simple just eat half of what i used to without cutting out any of my favorites and only drinking black coffee and ice water. i also love to go for long walks outside. i just want to feel good and look good in my clothes, i gain weight way to easily it doesnt make sense. i know i'm not alone and thats why im here.
