Fiber?
what is your plan john? is it low carb/only hi gi fiber and vegetables? not having a range of foods including the above usually means i have flatulence, its a tight balancing act

I'm the person who started this thread. I was interested in finding out other people opinions and experiences with dietary fiber. Thank you to everyone who replied thus far. I think that it is actually a very personal subject and is seldom discussed publicly. I also think that that fiber is so important that it needs to be talked about.

It's been discussed the different types of fiber and their differences. It was mentioned if we eat a balanced diet that we will consume enough soluble fiber. I agree. My concern is that not everyone attempting to loose weight may not be eating a diet that contains enough soluble fiber. I encourage everyone to make sure you get enough soluble fiber daily. In short, eat your veggies...

Here's my personal experience with insoluble fiber. When preparing to have my first Endoscopy I complained to my Gastroenterologist about difficulty eliminating and the small size of my stool since aging. He suggested I add insoluble fiber to my diet daily. It worked wonders. Not only did it make going easier, it made them larger. Although I do not consume insoluble fiber daily at this time I still have the ease and bulk of my younger days. I do make it a point to eat plenty of non-starchy veggies these days. Occasionally, I take insoluble fiber, especially after a large meal off my plan. I do think there are health benefits from consuming fiber...
BEYOND WEIGHT MANAGEMENT TEA
i always struggle on adequate excercise to increase but not take over my metabolic rate(BMR) when i am good though i do try the curcumin(turmeric) and garlic daily in my soup but not sure if there are any weight loss

properties
Taken from the product information:

Indications
Body detox Weight loss Digestive system cleansing

Ingredients
Organic Foeniculum vulgare, organic Cuminum Cuminum seeds and Pimpinella seeds

My comments:
1) Your body does not need a detox, and anything labeled as a 'cleanser' for your system is likely expensive garbage.

2) The first ingredient is the fancy term for fennel. The second is Cumin, and the third is Anise. You realize these are all basically just spices right? You could probably make this yourself using your own spice rack, but sure, pay them 10x as much for the same thing Razz

3) There are no magic tricks, powders, pills or solutions. Aside from PROPER diet and adequate exercise. Start there.

4) That said. If you want to drink it for the sake of drinking a tea, go for it, but don't expect it to ACTUALLY aid you in any form of 'faster'
