oops! another question
I have enjoyed success on SBD phase 1, but my wife hasn't lost any weight. She followed the diet like I did with only minor variances. For example, she hates raw veggies and wouldn't snack on raw celery, etc. She would do things like have a few more cashews, etc., but understood this might inhibit her losing weight a little. Have any of you experienced this? Should she move onto Phase 2 with me (this Sunday)? She is a huge fan of fruit, yogurt, etc. Would incorporating these into her snacking and breakfast options help? Have any of you not been very successful with phase 1, but did have success with phase 2? thanks (its real nice to have this community to lean on).

hunger help
I am 4 days into phase 1 of the SBD. I read the book and know that one isn't supposed to feel hungry. However, my wife and I are having problems with hunger. The meals satisfy us, but the snacks don't fully support us between meals. She has a bigger problem with it because she isn't a fan of snacking on raw veggies. Is it ok to squeeze in an extra snack and/or have larger portions of the approved foods at mealtime? For the sake of disclosure: although I weigh 318 pounds, I am 5'11 and built like a linebacker. Also, my wife and I are fairly active. We walk 1 & 1/2 miles and workout 4-5 times per week and we also have a small child to keep up with. Any help is greatly appreciated.
