Here I am starting over again. Seems like I say that every year. I realized I had not even checked in since Jan./2020. I have no idea where an entire year went. I am immune suppressed so COVID has been a very real threat to me. My life has changed so much and I have not been able to travel or get out in the world at all. I am fortunate enough to have a large yard and garden and was able to stay busy with that during the warmer months. Now I'm inside most of the time. I'm tired of being paralyzed by fear and want to reclaim my life. Yesterday I ventured out and found a sparsely used park and did some hiking. It felt good. I signed up for some challenges and new groups. So I'm ready to get going in the new year!

Having trouble getting motivated to exercise today. It’s just one of those days...a little dreary and damp outside. I’m embarrassed to say I am just getting around to putting Christmas decorations away. It’s so much more fun getting them out! But I made a commitment to myself to exercise more so I need to do something! 🧘🏼♀️

Trying for a fresh start. If I am not fully committed to eating low carb then I am gaining. I recommitted 11/1/19 and have been ever so slowly losing what I gained eating by real world standards. As I get older I have more aches and pains which does not make me happy! I walked the mile to meet my daughter for lunch yesterday. The pub where we met made me a wonderful Caesar salad. Today I used a DVD. Trying for a goal of exercise 5x a week. I am only weighing once a month. I find I get too discouraged if I weigh more. I’m trying and some days that is enough!
