Had vacation, cheated hear and there during that then back on track when I got home. Also bought a Prevention magazine and they had a 6 week walking program based on intervals and lights weights before walking. Started that and it's supposed to jump start your metabolism and you're supposed to lose 10 to 30 lbs. in 6 weeks. It's in this month's Prevention magazine if anyone is interested. There's also a walking plan in there for a marathon in 20 weeks. So far I like it. It's 6 days a week and three days are literally only 20 minutes with the other 3 being your intense days eventually working up to a a total work out time of 73 minutes(15 minutes weights, 4 minute warm-up walk, 50 minute moderate walk, and 4 minute warm down walk). I start week two today and lost 3 lbs in the last two weeks. So I'm hopeful about this. Funny I used to try and do diets to lose a quick amount of weight and now I use exercise.LOL

Well things are calming down a bit on the home front. Thanks to all who prayed for my son and I suspect even me. We discovered my son has a genetic chemical imbalance. It runs in my father's family as well as in my wife's family. He can't process dopamine normally. And marijuana floods your brain with dopamine. Dopamine is basically a pleasure hormone we all have. You get it from eating a good meal, sex, listening to music you like and if you smoke MJ you get it in large doses! If you process it normally no big deal. Taking a walk, exercising, cleaning house, etc. are all healthy ways to burn dopamine. But for my son since he had such an overload his brain was dealing with it by fits of rage and extreme anger. Now two weeks later and a a couple of pills he's as normal as I've seen him in a few years. Stress levels are going down and hopefully so will m y weight and blood pressure.
