Had vacation, cheated hear and there during that then back on track when I got home. Also bought a Prevention magazine and they had a 6 week walking program based on intervals and lights weights before walking. Started that and it's supposed to jump start your metabolism and you're supposed to lose 10 to 30 lbs. in 6 weeks. It's in this month's Prevention magazine if anyone is interested. There's also a walking plan in there for a marathon in 20 weeks. So far I like it. It's 6 days a week and three days are literally only 20 minutes with the other 3 being your intense days eventually working up to a a total work out time of 73 minutes(15 minutes weights, 4 minute warm-up walk, 50 minute moderate walk, and 4 minute warm down walk). I start week two today and lost 3 lbs in the last two weeks. So I'm hopeful about this. Funny I used to try and do diets to lose a quick amount of weight and now I use exercise.LOL

losing 1.1 lb a week

Blah is how I felt this week and blah is how I ate. I had a cheat weekend and paid for it. Sucks though cuz my cheating ways weren't really anything I loved to eat. I just stuffed my face and shoveled food in at a small party. Sometimes old habits creep up and bite you in the arse! So I'm back to the grindstone today...it's a new day and a new chance. I will not give up...I will not give up!:o)

gaining 0.5 lb a week

Well things are calming down a bit on the home front. Thanks to all who prayed for my son and I suspect even me. We discovered my son has a genetic chemical imbalance. It runs in my father's family as well as in my wife's family. He can't process dopamine normally. And marijuana floods your brain with dopamine. Dopamine is basically a pleasure hormone we all have. You get it from eating a good meal, sex, listening to music you like and if you smoke MJ you get it in large doses! If you process it normally no big deal. Taking a walk, exercising, cleaning house, etc. are all healthy ways to burn dopamine. But for my son since he had such an overload his brain was dealing with it by fits of rage and extreme anger. Now two weeks later and a a couple of pills he's as normal as I've seen him in a few years. Stress levels are going down and hopefully so will m y weight and blood pressure.

Amazing I even lost a pound the last two weeks. I've had some major stress in my family with a teenage son. I'll just leave it at that and hope things will turn around this month.

losing 0.5 lb a week

Life has really sucked lately! In spite of all the turmoil going in my life right now I still managed 2 more pounds. But its hard when there's so much stress to really lose. I find myself really wanting to eat and just give up...yes even after 57 pounds of weight loss. Stress more than anything makes me want to curl up in the fetal position with food as my comfort. I have an 18 year old son right now in rehab for anger and marijuana use. I'm fighting for his future since he will not right now. So any of you who read this and pray send one out for my son! Thanks!
