Last few months have been very stress filled with family issues. While I've only gained a few pounds I've been sticking to my diet and still exercising. Just not losing at all. Kind of at a stand still. Tried to increase work out length, but that resulted in plantar fasciitis and lots of foot pain and inability to work out for about 3 weeks. Then I just had to work out with pain. So life has been sucking lately. If anyone needs an 18 year old boy who knows it all I'll sell him cheap!:o) Just kidding...

gaining 0.2 lb a week

Been a tough few months. I haven't given up, but I've not been eating consciously and doing what I need to to lose wait. There's just so much stress in my life right now. And then I injured my foot. Or should I say it's an old injury that's reared it's ugly head. Plantar Fasciitis is very painful. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Add to that family issues with my 18 year-old son and me being a stress eater and you have the formula for steady weight GAIN not loss. Luckily even though my foot hurts like hell, I've maintained a work out though I've not been able to maintain intensity. Well enough beechin! I have only myself to blame for the gain. It's really no one's fault but my own. :o)

Grrrrr! Injured again! My plantar fasciitis flared up in all it's ugliness. I had to quit walking and tried riding the bike, but even that kills it. I've not been able to work out in over a week! I miss those endorphins! Hopefully a few more trips to the massage therapist/chiropractor will have it back in shape to work out.

Thanks all! I'm backup to 304, but I think it must be the weights. Everyone tells me I look skinnier, but as most fat people know what we see in the mirror is still a fat person. Crazy as that sounds almost 65 pounds later I look in the mirror and still see fat old me. I know I'm not simply because all my clothes are smaller now, but for some reason the "inside" me still see a big fat guy in the mirror. My face even isn't the same yet my minds perception of the mirror me still says FAT GUY! Well the program is going good at any rate. I been working out 6 days a week. Endurance days/interval days every other day. I'm up to a 43 minutes walk on my endurance days and weights before that. On my interval day I'm up to a 32 minute workout alternating between a slow walk and a slow jog...except for a 300 pound man anything over 3.5 miles per hour is fast.LOL So I think all the jogging/weights is building muscle and I simply am trading weight loss for muscle. I can live with that up to a point so long as I start heading down at some point.
