I am 11 weeks pregnant, so weight loss is no longer my goal at the moment. However, maintaining a healthy pregnancy weight is my new goal!

I have been a lot more consistent with my exercise. My only weekness lately is birthday cake and holiday treats. I have had 3 birthdays in three weeks and one this weekend. I know that I don't have the discipline to skip treats at parties, so I have tried to make up for it throught the rest of my week, by cutting back on carbs and staying busy. I haven't lost any in a while but I haven't gained either so I feel good about it. You have to make room for life, right?

I am lucky to say that I have not gained any weight. While I have not been eating very nutrionally lately, I have at least kept the portions under control, plus I am learning the art of distraction. I have made myself find ways to stay on my feet as much as possible. In the evenings I go outside with my little boys who insist I play tag and we have so much fun. I am trying to finish neglected projects around the house and I have been lucky enough to inherit a treadmill that has been passed around my husband's family for a while. I am excited about using it...starting today!
