Living in San Antonio, Happily married with one beautiful little girl. Trying to live the low carb lifestyle. Work full time and trying to find the time to have some me time which never seems to happen. The weekends all I want to do is sleep. I want that to change. I want to wake up and have a spring to my step. Not want a nap 2 hours after I get up. I have about 70lbs to lose. My first goal is to lose 20lbs by April. My favorite past times are knitting, reading and watching tv/movies

Blood Glucose
I am a diabetic but not an expert but as far as I know your blood sugar doesn't really effect fat burning. From what I remember if you run high then you could start to lose weight but not from low sugars. A normal person runs 70-90.
The best person to talk to is your diabetic Dr.
I have been doing Atkins for only 5 days and my sugars have decreased to under 200. I am hoping that I can get off meds eventually. My Dr never told me what he wants my numbers to be but he wants my A1C's down below 7.5 where it is at 8 now. Not sure this helped at all.

I was going to ask about Zumba too. I go to Golds Gym in San Antonio, I am going to give it a try now!

You can't get rid of stretch marks, they are little tears in the skin and are scars. The oils and lotions that say they get rid of them just take away the reddness of the marks. Once the reddness goes away there still is the line

Eating late
You may be eating too late the experts say don't eat anything 4 hours before bedtime. But I don't think it has anything to do with weightloss
