195.2 - Still heading in the right direction. I got a good 2 1/2 hour workout for my upper body today. My body loves having my muscles used, and I sleep better on workout days. Burritos are my bane, and I succumbed to Girl Scout cookies this evening. I will consume them over the next week but will try to eat a sensible amount each day and focus on more protein during meals to offset this.

Return to pre-surgery weight check. I'm already getting my physique back at the gym, having people come up and ask me what I'm doing to get where I am. The validation is nice.

I'm almost back to my pre-surgery (gallbladder removal) weight. I can't wait to hit the gym on Friday. Yeah, it's a week of 30# restriction, but at least I can tone up with high reps and get a little light cardio in. I'm finding the process of determining what foods I can and cannot eat without a gall bladder adventurous. Oddly, fried foods are no problem whatsoever. So far, the foods on the nope list are raw alum root veg (if they are sweated, cooked, or pickled, it's ok), orange sherbert, and rye chips. On the iffy list are pepperoni and any fruits with naturally occurring latex.
I still believe I can get back down to 195 by mid-month, maybe even below 190 by the end of the month. Once I reach my target weight, I don't want to bulk or cut by more than 15 lbs at a time. I have so much loose skin, and the dysmorphia from it is really uncomfortable. I have accepted it's there and not going to tone on its own and that it is a symbol of all the work I have done so far. But for me, my transformation will not be complete until I can get it removed from at least my lower abdominal region, legs thighs, and butt. The upper body isn't as badly affected, and muscle is filling the worst, but I've always had good leg muscles, so muscle development there isn't really reducing the flop there.

My weight is headed in the right direction again. Happy to be free of a cholecystitic gallbladder. I hate that I must wait until next Friday to resume weight training and only light weights, <25 lbs, for a week. My body had noticed I hadn't lifted in several days, and it decidedly does not like not being used. My appetite is once again diminished, probably from the post-op rebound. We'll see how long this lasts and how much additional weight I drop. When I do eat, I'm eating high protein, lots of Chicken, Turkey, lean Pork, lean Beef, and hot cereals fortified with nuts.
