Back from a wonderful 12-day vacation, and happy with the weight gain being reasonable. I tried my first lobster roll....and then my second...and then my third....and then my fourth. Unfortunately, the first was the best, and the rest were just quests to recreate that first sublime delight. If you're ever in Rye, NH, you must, must, must go to Rye Harbor Marina (for the Whale Watch -- amazing!!!), and then buy a lobster roll out of the shed in the parking lot. Served hot, on a New England roll, without mayonnaise, and just lightly caressed with a sherried butter....mmmmmmm!!!! Second place goes to a very lightly mayo-ed roll from Lobsta Land! Both sandwiches let the sweet flavor of the lobster shine. The others....phooey.
Off again in a few days for a few days, but will be back and on track with you all soon -- once school starts up again. We can do this!!!!
