I graduated high school at 6'3" 180 lbs. After getting married I have just gradually put weight on over time and looking back I am realizing that the more I put on the more the speed with which I put weight on was progressing. In early August of this year I was visiting my dad in the hospital (having another Heart Cathetar) and my wife asked him how much he weighed when he had his first heart attack. He weighed 240 and was 45 years old. This freaked me out. I had always viewed my dad as over-weight but did not realize that I was so far in the danger zone until I heard that. Also to my surprise, my dad weighed less than me for the first time in both of our lives. He was exstatic.....I was floored. So, I have started my Journey with Calorie Counter on my Droid and am sticking to it religiously. I will see 220 on the scale again. It is my goal to shoot for 2 lbs a week, but I am very focused and started my first week off with 9 lbs. This time will be different, this time is forever!!!
