I am challenging myself to fit into a pair of jeans 2 sizes smaller. Size 8. Which btw I have only ever fit into for maybe 15 minutes-lol. So i bought myself (2) pairs, long story, as inspiration and they are hanging in my bedroom. I have a goal, a plan, and I set up a facebook page of like-minded individuals for motivation and accountability. So I will use this site as a way of tracking my progress. I'm so excited!

I've been going to the gym regularly except for this week ... but i'm not losing any weight. I know about the whole muscle weighs more than fat thing but i've been at 171 Forever! So I've decided to be better about what i eat. I'll start with not eating after 9pm. More salad,more fruit. then i'll add changes as I go along. Also, I'll start recording here again-I got away from it and i think it is helpful. and i need to focus on getting to the gym more. part of that problem is the pain-i bought some aspirin so that should help. ok re-assessed and ready to go! plan is to look great in my bathing suit next summer.

i feel like i should weigh less. Maybe my scale is broken? My clothes are loose, I'm down 2 pant sizes. I've lost 3 inches in my belly and 1" in arms and legs. I'm ready to toss the scale but I'm still fixated on that number. Oh well, I guess I'll just try harder. Eat better (that's a tough one for me) and exercise EVEN more. Cause lately well the last 2-3 weeks have been hard to get to the gym. Started walking almost daily too. It'll happen, even if i just get down to "my" healthy weight of 150.

My gym just gave me 4 free semi-private (small group) training sessions! Yay! So once a week for a month I'll be with a personal trainer getting my A** kicked. She also gave me some advise on the other (5!) days of the week taht I should be doing during my workouts and some easy diet ( or so i thought) advice. Starts next week, but I'm so thrilled that I started following her advice right away. (Cept the diet part is harder than I thought!) At least i stopped eating the junk. The first day i only had the 2 carbs she recommended but yesterday I just had to have some noodles with my dinner which was carb number 3...but at least i t wasnt ice cream? So this morning back to the eggs. I don't know why i keep planning 2-no carb meals/day but then I've always been a rebel. i suppose its better to rebel in that direction than the way i did last night, having noodles and wine with my pork chop and broccoli. *carbs=noodles, bread etc; unlimited veggies

Finally lost weight! I have been losing inches also, but somehow its the actual weight decrease that's got me enthusiastic again! Had my annual physical and all my numbers were excellant! So I've been eating even better lately and am now more motivated to get to the gym.
Just the push I needed right before bathing suit season! And I will reward myself with a new one when I lose ten more pounds.
