Eating animal-based products, such as eggs, makes me feel less energetic and I've managed to gain weight, which is unacceptable.I relaxed too much and this is what happens. I work 15 hours a day as a writer in front of the computer. Exercise is pretty low...except for housework and weekly shopping. I have a huge yard so I don't even have to walk my dog. Plus my medical condition that doesn't leave me with many choices when it comes to sports. It is difficult to lose weight and even maintain weight especially when you have a gourmand family.

Today is a new beginning. It is going to be the first of many days to come when I will be completing my food diary and it is going to be the last day when I eat foods that animal-based. I've never felt better physically and mentally than while I was 100 vegan. A psychologist once told me that if you see that painting your nails red makes you cry and bitter in the morning then you should not paint your nails red.
