I just know this is going to end soon, so am keeping track while i'm still experiencing even the tiniest weight loss!! Down to 181.8 from 182.3 yesterday. Not much, but every little bit excites me! :o)

I made a discovery, my friends! If you're talking on the phone with a friend, and forget about time, and you have eggs boiling on the stove, and you let them boil long enough ~ they will explode! It's rather messy, too. Thankfully, it wasn't as hard to clean up as i expected. And i managed to save the yolk of one of the eggs, and i ate it. What a waste of six eggs! Lesson learned. Just goes to show you ~ you are NEVER too old to learn!
There was a good part to the day, however. Despite my over-eating on my trip to Easter WA and OR, i lost the extra couple pounds, and was down to 182.3 this morning!! Haven't seen 182 in quite a while!

I can't believe i was actually down to 183.nothing this morning! Especially after my trip to Walla Walla (via Hermiston, OR) to spend my granddaughter's 15th birthday with her! We all went to the local park and had a nice picnic lunch ~ homemade turkey subs on round buns, Safeway mac salad, Doritos with ranch dip, and Walmart chocolate cake with chocolate icing. I ate as little as i could of everything, except i finished the sandwich. Then we went to McDonald's and everyone got a $1 coke ~ i got a half-cut sweet tea (i simply cannot drink tea or coffee without a little sweetness! Then, to top it off, the night before my stepfather (who always cooks)grilled a Costco rib-eye steak, which we split, and i made a large green salad (spinach i took from my garden), spring-mix greens, tomato, and cucumber, with Greek dressing, which i had never tried before, and don't particularly care for. The biggest weight-loss killer was the home made strawberry-rhubarb pie i took with me, to which my step father added vanilla ice cream.I had two pieces while i was there ~ he ate the rest(luckily). I thought i would have weighed 195 again, but i was blessed to only have gone up to 185.2. I have been very careful the past two days, and have eaten as wisely as possible. I even skipped lunch yesterday, and i mowed my entire front yard in the heat. What with eating wisely and the exercise (plus doing 990 steps on my Wii Fit, i actually had a large surplus of calories when i entered the tally on MyFitnessPal. I can't mow the lawn again today, so i will be back to struggling to keep my calories close to what i am allowed, which is 1200, until the grass grows a little.
