As much as I hate to write in this food Diary< I know that I must be consistent. This is the only way I will learn to be accountable for what I do. Iwill be leaving for Scotland in10 days. My dear friends and family are being very kind towant to take me out for lunch or dinner. As much as I am trying to eat healthy I also knw that I must make good choices. f I dont make good choices, I feel bad later on. If I make an okay choice I still ask for a box to take home, so I am thinking . I just make sure I stoop the waitress on the second or third round and ask for a box. I do not want to deny myself what I want si I know I must limit the food if it is really bad. So I am working on that. Also, I went to the Doctors yesterday and my doctor told me it is better to loose slowly that quickly. Now, I've heard that a million times but yesterday it hit me. There was a smile on my Dr.s face and I just realized that she was right. So rather than worring and stressing over this and every little thing I an still tracking my food as best I could. I am also preparing for my trip by looking for cook books that have only healthy recipies. I am sure I will faulted but I also know that I will focus on good things to eat. AND if Ikeep saying my MANTRA before I wat " I get Ful so FAST" that maybe I will continue to slowly loose weight.

I am kind of surprised that I am eating when I am hungry but I am not eating enough to his my daily caloric intake. I have to figure out what eale I can do.

Even though I haven't written in a while, I am still working on my new way of eating. I am working out at least 3 -4 days a week. so I feel good about that. I DO fall short of my GOOD habits but not as often as I used to. So I am happy that I am more consistent. I am buying more fruit AND eating more of it. Also, I am cooking more as well. My favorite, so far, is the scallops with White beans and spinach. as well as Mexican Shrimp cocktail. both of thise were really good. I will probably make those again. I also mad a waldorf salad with chicken but I think I used too much mayo, my stomach was really upset. So I have to watch how much of fat stuff I eat. I am also watching what I eat when I go out. I went out with Val and we went to Kates Kitchen. I was quite surprised that I thought the potatoes were too salty and I couldn't eat all of the sausage. I did have 1 and 1/2 biscuits. they were soooooooogood. I also had some sausage gravy. I didn't have too much of it but it was good. I don't think I could do this again for awhile it was a great biscuit though. I know that I am not going togive up my favorite foods. I just know that I can't eat ALL of everything I want. I have lost 12 lbs since January 8.
