it was a busy day and I was going to exercise but a friend called and she needed to talk. Not often can I helpa friend by just listening , because of this I wasn't able to workout with susie. I don't like to miss her training but there was no was I was going to tell my friend that I couldn't talk I will make it up one of the days this week. I had a good breakfast and then had to go to A.A. i took some grapes and nuts and that held me over for a while. I got hungry while I was at the apple store, I thought of all of the things I could eat at the mall but I knew they were poor choices. I decided to get home and had a greek salad with chicken it wasn't the best but better than what I would normally have. So, I am learning to think before eating.

I am feeling pretty good and very proud of myself. I am trying to continue to focus on my trip as my motivation. I amtrying to eat at least 3 meals a day. I am not eating junk I am eating so I don't get hungry. So I am working on having good food in the fridge and ready yo eat..like tomatoes and grapes. Trying to drink more water. I know I am eating enough fruit now...I need to continue that as well. So this week I am going to focus on eating more veggies. SO far I've lost 14 lbs. I must say that my highest weight was 217lbs
So I am using that weight as my starting weight. AND it makes it look like I've lost a lot. Actually, as of January I was 212.lbs. so either way I have lost 9.something lbs. I am hoping I can continue my motivation.

Well, I started out real good today and I even did greatfor lunch and dinner. I went out with a friend for dinner. I was going to have Salmon but decided to have scallops instead. I wanted to taste the scallops because I wanted to taste how good scallops taste. The risotto was not good so I didn't eat very much of it. it was very bland. the spinach was very good, and the cream sauce on the plate was good but again not good enough to eat. I also wanted to try the onion soup. It was good but didn't finish it. So I did pretty good.
But then I decided to have dessert, The good news I didn't finish it. The bad news is it was Chocolate cake and vanilla Ice cream. It didn't taste good so I didn't finish it. I love chocolate and nuts so I did finish that part. The other thing is that it is 10:00 and Iam full still. I don't like this feeling at all, So the next time I go out either eat earlier or eat smaller portions. I don't think I did as well as I did last week but Iam still on the right path.

I had a good day today. I worked out with Susie and I am staying focused. I feel so much better since I've started my program. I slept for about 2 hours this morning. Made a smoothie and and had 2 pieces of toast.
I have not been hungry today or even panicked abput eating. I think it's because I am thinking before I leave . I packed some grapes and almonds for my drive to Ann Arbor. When I got home I had a tangerine and V-8. It seems again that what I have forgotten to do all these years is think. As impulsive as my eating has been so has my lack of self control. So, It is almost like if I focus on my weight loss I will stay focus. I am hoping that after I am done with this program I will be able to do this on my own. Right now I am proud of myself for what I've done today.
