Looking for buddies to help and support :)
My husband quit smoking 4 times before being smoke free for the last 30 years. I like to think of my back sliding as being one step closer to learning to make a lifetime commitment to healthy eating. Each time I learn a bit more about myself and what does and doesn't work. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes. when the dietician told me I couldn't afford to ever binge again, I ate 40 gingersnaps. Watching my blood sugar rise to the heavens worked better than anything anyone could ever say. I still have rebellion binges, but I find they're much smaller and I'm very motivated to exercise like crazy afterwards so I don't have to see any awful numbers. I'm terrified of dying at 55 like my aunt who developed kidney failure from diabetes. Would love to have and give support. Nice to meet you!
