I am the aunt to 5 amazing children. I am married to a wonderful, understanding and supportive man, who is doing my diet with me! I recently graduated college with a degree in Business Management. I have yet to find a job. For the last year and a half I have been the in home caregiver to my grandfather, who has Alzheimer's, so he can stay out of a nursing home and my grandma can continue working(she really needs to retire).
I have no children of my own yet, but I have a few furkids. I lost my dog of 14 yrs a year ago and I am still a bit lost without her.
I was diagnosed with PCOS 6 years ago, Bi-polar disorder, Anxiety, and Depression in 2008. Factor V leiden, Hyperhomocysteinemia, and Antiphopholipid Syndrome in 2009 after being referred to an Reproductive Endo after my 2nd pregnancy loss. Twins in 2004(one at 9wks the other at 17) and a singleton in 2009. Since May of this year I have been diagnosed with Asthma, Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
After doing some digging, due to some symptoms I have that are not common with PCOS but Hypothyroid, I found that my Thyroid levels have been elevated for years, according to the AACE's standards, but my doctors and laboratory, are using old standards and it was "normal" to them. I threw a fit in my doctors office until he prescribed low dose Synthroid,today(7/21/11)!
