Halloween potluck at work today. Three boxes of doughnuts! Cookies! Arrrgghh... my kryptonite. So far I've avoided all of them. I brought bbq meatballs in my slow cooker (I ate 5), and ate a couple of small "mummy dogs". Someone brought fruit, so I should be okay. I grabbed a quick bowl and was headed out when mac and cheese, pizza, and Costco croissant sandwiches walked in. Must. Not. Succumb. Tonight hubby and I are having Costco's Chinese chicken salads while we hand out candy to the kids. Happy Halloween to y'all! I'm dressed head to toe in jack-o-lantern couture. I bought this shirt when I was heavier, so it's floating around me like a tunic, which I enjoy.

I haven't been feeling 100% lately. Sinuses... something. I succumbed to comfort food last night and had popcorn for dinner. I used 1/2 the butter I usually use and still felt satisfied, so that was nice. Hoping to get through "candy day" tomorrow without becoming a casualty. Potluck at work... chocolate for the kiddos... yikes.

Busy weekend with things like a wedding, socializing, etc. I fell off the wagon with that wedding cake -- it was delicious! Fortunately I kept myself pretty busy so that I didn't put on as much weight as I could have. Back in the saddle again this week!

This week is endless. I hate losing weight I've already lost. I own the problem, but it kind of sucks to have what is essentially a "lost week" because I'm having to redo my prior effort.
It's also weird that when I go to put in my new weight when using my PC that the weight automatically pops up more. How demoralizing! I guess the app errs on the side of human frailty, LOL! I'm down three ounces and I want the app to applaud that!
I want to get out of this yellow stripe zone!!! Three more pounds to lose before the color turns and I want it!

Working my way back down again. I had dinner with a friend at Boudin last night; anyone have one near you? The butternut squash soup was delicious!!! I had a half sandwich on the side: brie with apples and fig jam. So yummy.
I've lost enough weight/inches in my legs to feel comfortable wearing boots, so I looked adorable, which helped, LOL! Afterward, instead of a cookie, we walked down to The Container Store to browse and get ideas. Fun night.
