I'm not going to weigh in until we get home on Monday. I've been doing great with food choices. I think since I've been writing down all my foods I eat has helped tremendously! I haven't swayed, except two Tbsps. Vanilla ice cream one night after dinner. Why did that waiter tempt me by bringing it to my husband with 2 spoons! It was lovely, but so wrong! I've been doing extra walking. I will write again when we get back. My husband and I are SCCA volunteers and we work the races at Laguna Seca. Food will be tricky and I'll have to pack breakfast, snacks, and hope that the dinner they serve is something edible! Wish me luck!!!!

I'm out of town this week, UGH! But so far, so good. There's no time to fall off the wagon! We are in condo, so I brought all my foods and then we happened upon a Costco! Wow! I hit a gold mine of different things to eat! I've been eating a cup of veggies every main meal now, such as asparagus for breakfast, a cup of fresh cooked spinach for lunch, and planning on a cup of broccoli for dinner. My internet connection is iffy where we are so I'm recording foods on my phone and plan to transfer when I get home next Monday. Right now I'm feeling positive about food choices and know that with my body it's just going to take time. I'm not deprived and feel good.

My typical day:
Breakfast:
2 strips fried bacon
2 egg omelet prepared in bacon grease, mushrooms, cheese
Coffee w/2 packs Equal and splash of unsweetened almond milk
Lunch:
Soup made w/chicken broth, 1 c broccoli, small onion and seasonings (blended) topped w/tsp. sour cream, fried turkey patty w/A-1 sauce, s.f. Jello w/ whipped cream
Snack:
String cheese 2nd coffee (same as breakfast)
Dinner:
Chicken Cesar salad (Ready PAC -Bistro), fried salmon steak w/lemon and seasoning
Snack:
Fuji apple, 1/2 c pistachios, jello w/whipped cream, decaf coffee (same additives as before)
Also have been drinking 3 16oz. waters w/package of crystal light lemonade.
I tried to be accurate in my descriptions and I switch lunch to dinner items, but pretty much keep it the same. I think it's close to 1500 calories a day. I think my carbs are too high and aren't all vegetables. I'm planning on upping my vegetable intake to every meal. I think I'm eating too much imitation sweeteners daily too.

This is actually (Day 20). I've lost 2 lbs so far. I'm using this site to help me with tracking my food intake properly. I fear I'm not eating enough vegetables daily. I think I'm also eating too many artificial sweetners daily too. I entered the food I ate so far today and find, before dinner, that I've consumed 29 grms of carbs already! Mostly from the vegetable soup (17).
