After that Pilates class yesterday I woke up with all kinds of sore muscles! Just taking a deep breath, expanding my chest, my muscles hurt! Oh we'll, no pain no gain, right?!

I'm going to have to pat myself on the back today! I got up early enough to get to a Pilates class this morning before 8:00!!! It was my first time for Pilates and it was fantastic! I've been attending 1 hour exercise classes twice a week for the last 5 years. I have the time now since I retired 5 months ago to add another class. I take classes because I need the motivation I get from the instructor and members who are regulars. It's another way to do some social net-working. My WW diet is going great. I feel very liberated and have so many choices of foods to choose from now. I'm so grateful I have the time to cook healthy things. Wish my husband could join me in my food selections, but he has been and always will be a "meat & potatoes" kind of person! I'm starting a new group Monday to walk everyday for 30 minutes. This will also increase my weight loss. ;-)

I feel very thankful today that my weight has been dropping, finally. I'm so glad I changed to a diet more to my way of eating and that I'm feeling and looking better in only 2 days! Plus, I'm enjoying eating all the seasonal fruits we abundantly have in California. Yes, this diet is going to be perfect for me!! I couldn't be any happier that I've finally been able to adjust my portions and know my limitations! Call me a happy grandma who can see the light at the end of the end of the tunnel! If I can do it, anybody can do it! I feel a good change happening within me. My weight is down 1.50 lbs. today, yahoo!!!!!

Today I started my diet with Weight Watchers and all went very well. I give credit to Atkins for preparing me with the basic knowledge of limitations in eating. Eating fruit today was wonderful! I can eat all the fruit and veggies in every meal and it sure tasted good! I bought some Fuji's, peaches, and honeydew melon today. I missed fruit the most on Atkins. I feel this is a good change for me and anticipate weight loss soon!
