Three more pounds. Another week like this and it'll be 20 pounds in just over a month. I'm going to concentrate on that and not on how much further I still have to go.
I was checking an online calorie calculator and it looks like I need to drop 50 lbs off my max daily calories due to the weight loss so far.

Chose Reasonably Well this time because we've decided to vary the diet a bit so that it better fit our tastes/needs. We are purposely including some foods that Chris bans in his book, but are staying within specific total calorie and carb guidelines. And it is working for us. Another 3 lbs this week.
It would be more accurate to change the diet to "My Own" and say that I followed it 100%. In other words, while I didn't follow the Chris Powel Choose To Lose diet 100%, I didn't "cheat" or "slip".

Week two and all is well. I was a big disappointed by today's weigh in at first, but I need to keep a couple of things in mind. I have been exercising and more active in general, so there is a good chance that some fat loss was countered by muscle gain. Also three pounds is still good. If I was able to maintain that rate, I could still lose 150 in a year.
Again, the main challenge was finding enough variety during low-carb days. It still takes quite a bit of time to work out menus for the day. It IS getting easier though by using FatSecret's options for copying and saving foods/meals as we build up more meal history.
Surprisingly, the hardest part about not eating after dinner wasn't hunger, it was just the desire to have some kind of snack. I'm not convinced that having a low cal healthy snack at night would be a problem, but for the wife's sake, I'll stick to the *NO* food after dinner rule for now at least.

Almost a week in. So far I've felt stuffed more often than hungry. By the end of the week, I was craving a bit more variety, but that is just because we didn't have enough healthy options available. Tomorrow is "cheat" day so I don't expect to have any problems finishing up the week.
Its clear we need to take time during the evening to prepare and actually plan the next day's meals. Without prepared meals or at least pre-planned food choices for the day there just isn't time in the morning to get everything ready to take to work unless your boss doesn't mind if you arrive an hour late. :)
Making a big batch of breakfast burritos to start the week was a good idea. We'll need to do more of that. This week we also need to make sure we keep pre-cut and pre-portioned vegetables stocked to make it easier to grab-and-go in the morning.
The only reason I put "Reasonably Well" instead of "100%" is that I'm not following Chris Powell's calorie recommendation of 1500/2000 per day for the low/high carb days. That's just too low for me at this time. A dozen different calorie requirement calculators online recommended from 2,700 to up to 3,100 to loose 1-1/2 lbs a week.
Instead I've chosen to go with 2000/2500 for my daily calorie goals. Monday-Saturday I'm using the pie chart at the bottom of the FatSecret food diary page to try to hit these goals:
Low Carb Days:
Carbs - 25%-30%
Protein - 40%-45%
Fats - 35%
High Carb Days:
Carbs - 55%-60%
Protein - 25%-30%
Fats - 15%-20%

8.0 lb
still to go:

Day two of Chris Powell's Choose to Lose carb cycling diet. Today is a high-carb day.
