60 years old, married for 40 of those 60 and still am. Have seen a gradual weight gain for the past 20 yrs to the point that I am now at 218 and I would be much better off carrying quite a bit less. I've set a goal of 190, I could handle being even lighter at 5'11" but if I can get there, I'll work on going lower if need be. Myt wife is on a diet also so it makes it easier for us to stay focused on being good about what we eat and exercising.

Soreness in abs
I have arthritis in my neck and every time I try to do any ab work at all, whether it's on a board keeping my neck still or doing crunches, I always get a very stiff neck and bad headaches. That's a bummer, because as much as I may hate them, I think they help strengthen those muscles. Keep on trying.

Question on personality
I say, Good for you!. Nothing wrong with being focused on the task at hand. Sounds like you should be successful in your venture to lose as much as you want. As long as you are involved in things that are good for you, I think it's great. Wish I were that focused to improve my golf game and various other aspects of my life. Good Luck, Rick

Cauliflower Pizza
I think I read about it on here somewhere but I made some and it was great and filling and very low cal. My wife is Gluten-free so it worked great for her too. First pizza she has eaten in years. To top it off, just completed my first week and lost 8 lbs on a diet that I was thinking I would maybe lose 1-2 per week. Don't expect that to happen again, but I hope I can keep on losing steadilly
