The scale is a liar. So, basically as you can see by my chart I turned away from doing full scale Atkins to following more of a primal diet. Still low in carbs--less than 100 g TOTAL carbs per day. I have also been doing my workouts.
The scale is not moving to quickly. It is hard to look at it and really know what it is doing for me. It dips down and then it goes up a couple of pounds and then I stay like that and then it dips down even lower and then it goes up. It is definitely not linear and I need to stop weighing myself so frequently.
What I have started doing is logging the lowest weight point for weigh in and then just waiting until I see it drop again to add anything else.
Here is why the scale is a liar. June 5, I weighed in 1t 210 and my body fat on the tanita was 45% which means I had 94.5 lbs of fat on my body. Today I weighed in at 213 but the body fat read 42% (41% for my tummy--a nice drop) which means that I am now 89.4 lbs of fat. That means that I lost 5.1 lbs of fat this month even though the scale was technically higher this morning. My water weight fluctuates so who knows what the numbers are even saying.

It seems I have lost a percentage point of body fat over this month.
That's good but this is slow. I am making a lot of adjustments. I need to stick to whatever I am doing. So far, so good with staying primal. I realize that he doesn't count net carbs. So, I am counting total carbs and total carbs are not to exceed 100 g per day.

Still too much carbs today. It's definitely the kind bars which I love. I must limit to one per day. It is also that I broke down and bought my after workout protein shake from lifecafe--much more carb than my homemade version.
I had a good workout today and feel great!
I just realized with the traveling, I had not been as consistent with marking down my workouts.
I need to claim that sweat I eared on here. I also am getting back to being more consistent in writing down what I am eating.

Yup. Carb creep. Sleep eat and all of that!
Tomorrow is a new day. Somehow I am smaller with all of this insanity.
